My
Approach

My love for occupational therapy arises from my belief in the power of meaningful occupations—an occupation being anything and everything a person does in their day to day life. When we do what we love we find wellness within, and we learn to thrive.

I believe that recovery happens within a strong therapeutic relationship, and that there is power in the small conscious changes people can make when they are held accountable.

My approach is based on sensory modulation because acute awareness of our sensory needs can improve our self-control and help us navigate our internal and external world with more integrity.

I’m striving daily to support people, no matter what their situation, to live their lives generously honouring their culture and individual flare.
